Airtel launches BlackBerry Curve 8520 Smartphone in India

Indian telecom major Bharti Airtel and Canada-based Research in Motion (RIM) have launched the new BlackBerry Curve 8520 smartphone in India.
This is the first BlackBerry handset to come to the market with dedicated media keys, so that users can easily control the music and videos played on the device. It also comes with BlackBerry Media Sync, which makes it easy to quickly sync music from iTunes or Windows Media Player with the Smartphone and easy access to social networking services like Facebook, MySpace, Flickr, Windows Live Messenger and BlackBerry Messenger.

The BlackBerry Curve 8520 comes at a price of Rs.15990, and will be available to both postpaid and prepaid customers across India on Airtel’s authorized outlets from August 7.
