Spice launches VAS enabled mobile phone – Spice S-940

The Spice Mobiles introduced its new VAS enabled mobile phone calls S-940. It has so many unique features like m-learning, e-mail2sms and social networking application.

• M-Learning - Spice mobiles has tied up with popular learning portal MGurujee. The learning portal will help its users to prepare for competitive exams like CAT, MAT, IIT-JEE or CBSE etc.

• Email2Sms – The service allows users to access their emails via SMS, without having to pay for the Internet.

• Social networking - A customized mobile version of Indian community website Ibibo.

In addition to this, the Spice S940 comes with amazing features, which includes fairly large 2.4-inch screen, 2 megapixel camera, music player with dual speakers, stereo bluetooth, camera, privacy lock, Opera Mini, SMS scheduler, dazzle ringtone and FM (with record and play). It has 8 MB of internal memory and supports memory cards upto 2GB. The phone weighs 96 grams and the 1000 mah battery provides it a 350 hour standby and a 5 hour talk time.
