About UIDAI
The UIDAI (Unique Identification Authority of India) was established in February 2009 by the Government of India to issue unique identification number or Unique ID card (UID Card) to all Indian residents. It is part of the Planning Commission of India.
The authority is headed by a chairman, holds a rank of Cabinet minister. Nandan Nilekani, co-chairman and board member of Infosys Technologies Ltd, was appointed as the first Chairman and Mr. Ram Sewak Sharma was appointed as Director General of the authority in June 2009.
The Unique Identification Authority of India has set a target of 100 million aadhar or unique IDs to be issued in the next one year. And hope to issue 600 million unique IDs in five years.

I came from Tamil Nadu to Mysore and I am working in Product Promoters, yadavagiri Industrial Estate. Even though I obtained surrender Certificate towards Ration Card from Tamil Nadu, so far I have not received a new one in Mysore. I have my voter id in old address and have D.L. and pass port also in old address. But I have a gas bill in the present address in Mysore. whether shall I get UNIQUE ID Card?

I alongwith my parents have registered for UID cards. My parents have received the same but my card is not yet received. We (all the three members of the family) have registered on the same day in the month of March’11. So please look into the matter & dispatch it as early as possible.

I and my wife, Sharada Swamy, have enrolled together on 24/11/2010 and almost at the time at Mysore. While she got the card about 4 months back, i am yet to receive. My compliant # is 211269 of 21/03/2011. Neither the help line nor calling several times to know the position have been useless and so with the on-line checking They expressed helplessness, If we cannot get any help by telephoning better be done away with this telephone set-up and save tax-payers money. I want to know when i am likely to get it. I am sure this mail will not go the same way of telephone calls but will have positive results. All we four, (my husband and two daughter) completed all process of UIDAI on 24 April 2011 at Kandivali (East). All three (my husband and 2 daughter) received their card on 04-05 July 2011 but I have not received my card till date as we all together did all the process. What happened to my Card? i want change some matter from uidai because of some misteck in writing in matter from u & us. so what can i do?
I came with my mummy and papa for submitting the enrollment form. We have suffered there 5 hours and finally got the acknowledgment. Problem is that the system and management of providing form and submitting is so far time consuming and uncomfortable. Pls if there is online submission available then confirm us.

I Am submitted Adhaar form on 29/04/2011 and yet not get any kind of reply and also followed the ADHAAR website but reply is not showing my number is 1218/17853/00118 please if someone can see my status please mail me.

What will be the consequence to those who didn’t have this UIDAI Card?
i myself and my son have already enrolled for aadhar card in Karvy Data management Services on 9-7-2011 & 17-8-2011. Enrolment No.2017/00083/00292 dtd 9-7-2011 & 2017/00083/02647dtd 17-8-2011. I have not got my Cards till date. Recently I have seen in the News paper that Those registrations have been cancelled. Kindly clarify whether the the above statement is correct or not?

I along with my all family member completed aadar enrollment procedure on 07.09.011 and got enrollment no.1207/90772/00654-55&59 for all three members. Your website could not show the status even I have tried so many times. Kindly convey us status of UID.
I would like to know how to know my unique identification number
I & my wife enrolled ourselves on 28 Mar 2011, but are yet to receive the Aadhaar cards. It is beyond imagination that so called IT INDIA cannot process relevant data in SIX MONTHS. Shame on me.
As i have lost left hand middle finger 1/2. Adhar fellows rejected my photo for the Adhar card. What shall i do further. Awaiting for your reply.
We completed the formalities for both of us on 08/09/2011 under our enrolment No. 1093/60014/91180 and 1093/60014/91249. We were told that u will be delivered your cards within 3 months. But we have not received as yet by 12/12/2011. Kindly advise me by e-mail when shall we get our cards and expedite dispatch of the cards to us and oblige.
